A whole series of individual buildings are currently being built in Zagreb, and due to the great demand for square meters, construction companies are deciding to erect real small settlements within the existing dimensions. While Milan Bandić is currently promoting the project “City in the City”, builders are “crazy” about the scheme “neighborhood in neighborhood.” So, the views of numerous Zagreb neighborhoods are being updated with new batches, and as soon as the first shovel is buried, apartments are sold out in record time. Quality plus credits Great interest in new construction, according to the deputy president of the Real Estate Business Association at the Croatian Chamber of Commerce, Boro Vujović, lies in the fact that almost nothing was built from 2008 to 2016, but the needs of the residents did not disappear. The average price per square meter is 1850 euros, and occupancy is planned from April to October next year – say the architects Ivan Zloušić and Mislav Bašić from the 4UHA company, which is responsible for the buildings in Rudeš. Their “product”, they add, did not have to be specially advertised, as the location itself sold out the apartments. The buildings are located near a school, kindergarten, health center, public transportation, shopping centers, Jarun Lake, and again in a quiet, peaceful street. A new look will also be given to part of the Jelenovac neighborhood, where four new buildings will immediately sprout next to the park forest. Occupancy is expected in July and August, apartments are sizes ranging from 99 to 137 square meters, and the square meter costs from 2900 to 3600 euros. Along the park forest Grmoščica in Kustošija, on the other hand, small houses are being built in a row, each ranging from 122 to 135 square meters, and the price is 2200 euros per square meter. – The issuance of a construction permit is still underway; we should start construction in April, and we already have inquiries. Naturally, our goal is to sign pre-purchase agreements with buyers so that we can build and finish apartments before October – say in the IMAG company, which is the investor in Kustošija. Attracted by the promotions New mini-settlements are also being built in Dubrava Avenue 120, in Gorenci Street in Mikulići, in Orahovac, in the Sv. Duh quarter area, and also in Zapruđe, right next to the Plodine supermarket. They are currently attracting buyers with special promotional prices available only in the first phase of construction.
