Rent prices for apartments from 20 to 40 square meters in November ranged from 280 euros to 850 euros a month In November, Zagreb was the most sought-after city for apartment rentals in Croatia, with the highest demand for Trešnjevački, Maksimir, Črnomerec, city center and Dubrava. Comparing average advertised rents with those from November last year, data show an increase of 0.2 percent in value, while monthly values were 1 percent lower. Zagreb apartment prices fluctuated month after month, but compared to five years ago, the difference is striking. In November 2016, in Zagreb, it took an average of 100 euros less to rent a 100 square meter apartment than in the same month this year. The range of prices for renting apartments from 20 to 40 square meters in November ranged from 280 euros to 850 euros a month. Compared to 2016, rents are on average 30 percent higher, and for such apartments, about 110 euros more is now requested. For the rental of apartments 40 to 60 square meters, advertised prices range from 300 to 1200 euros. Compared to November 2016, much higher sums are now required, a difference of about 17 percent, and their advertised price is on average 85 euros higher. Rentals for apartments from 60 to 80 square meters have their prices peaking at 1400 euros, with an average advertised price increased by about 16 percent, making their rentals on average 100 euros more expensive than five years ago. Apartments from 80 to 100 square meters, advertised in November on Crozilla.com, have seen rental prices rise to 2000 euros.
