Samobor, beautiful castle on a 15th-century estate. It is located in Samobor in close proximity to the city center on elevated but predominantly flat land with an area of 10,617 m². The castle itself has a gross floor area of 262 m². In addition to the castle, there are also auxiliary buildings on the property totaling 432 m².
The beginnings of the castle are connected to the Podolje tower, built in the 15th century, which was later integrated into the body of the castle, and after the defense of Samobor from the Turks, in which defense the tower was of strategic importance, it was repurposed and upgraded by the Szaich de Pernicza family (ancestors of the current owners, the Bošnjak-Praunsperger family) for residential use. Alongside the castle are three agricultural buildings that are still in use, built by Victoria's son Phileus. The castle houses a loan collection of artworks - portraits, weapons, furniture, first glass. The entire accompanying collection comes with the castle.
